Savage Beauty - McQueen

Countdown to what will be one of the exhibitions of the year. I'm talking about "Savage Beauty", the retrospective dedicated to Alexander McQueen, that traces the intense career from the first sketches to the last collection made after his death in February 2010.
A host this great event will be the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, from May 4 until July 31, 2011. The opening to the general public will be preceded by a day and a preview of the inauguration party this evening.
The exhibition will include over 100 full and 70 accessories that have made the story of Alexander McQueen in 1992, the year he graduated from Central Saint Martins in London, until February 2010.
The exhibition was organized by Andrew Bolton and Harold Koda of the Costume Institute, in collaboration with the "insiders" and Sam Gainsbury Joseph Bennet, organizers of the shows of Alexander McQueen.
This exhibition will be told how the thought of Alexander McQueen has always been looking for new blood. Taking it from history, from the countries of the world, from nature. Just as a romantic spirit: always looking for inspiration and originality.
